What age are Adult tickets?

18 years and over.

What age are Child tickets?

3 years to 18 years.

Who are covered by concession tickets?

65+ years, RSPB, SWT members and registered carers and registered disabled (children & adults)- all need to present certificates/membership at the gate.

What times are you open?

The Spring Day tickets are for the Play Park only and are weekends only until 18th July 2021. Open 10-4pm, last entries at 2pm. Tickets online.

Summer Day Pass -The Maize Maze & play park are open 24th July - 5th September 2021, 7 days a week, 9am-5.30pm, last entries at 3pm. All tickets must be bought online to control numbers on site in line with Covid 19 control measures.

Our Halloween event, ScareTacular, is open from 23rd October - 3st October 2021, tickets available online in October.

Will the Jumping Pillows be open during our visit?

Yes, but please be advised that the jumping pillows are closed for Health & Safety reasons when it rains and also after dark.  There can be no refund to your tickets if the pillows have to close during your visit. We endeavour to get them open again as quickly as possible given the conditions. 

The management reserves the right to open and close the pillows as they see fit according to the conditions at the time.

Are dogs allowed?

We are sorry but dogs are not allowed in the maze or in the picnic and play area. This is for health & safety reasons due to the close proximity of lots of children in a relatively small area. Guide dogs only are allowed.

 

Dogs on leads are allowed in the cafe and on the walks to the front to of the cafe.

Are we allowed to smoke?

No sorry, we are a No Smoking site. This is due to the family friendly nature of our activity and also because of fire risk. Smoking is permitted in an area outside the main picnic and play area, on the car park side of the fence. Thank you for your understanding.

For the Halloween event, when do we pay for pumpkin carving and face painting?

There is a charge for the pumpkin picking, Slime Creation and pumpkin carving and you pay at the activity. you cannot book these things online.

 

Separate Pumpkin picking slots are available for 2021 that are independent of the Halloween Maze event. These will be available in early October. Pumpkin picking will open 16th Oct.

Can I just turn up and pay on the gate?

All tickets must be purchased online and are subject to availability. There will be a limited number of tickets available to purchase on the day but we cannot guarantee there will be availability so advise booking tikcets online which can be done right up to the time of arrival on site.

Can I buy a Season Ticket this year?

No we are sorry but we are unable to sell season tickets this year due to Covid 19 control guidelines and the need to control numbers on site, should this change we will revise this situation.

What are the food/drink offerings on site and can I bring a picnic?

Yes you can bring a picnic into the Maze & Play park but you are not permitted to eat picnics inside the café or on the grass areas around the café building, on any of the benches outside the cafe building, in the car parks or on the walks. 

The main Old Hall cafe is availble for food puchase, open 9-5pm, last hot food orders at 4pm. This is good quality home made and local produce, a wide menu which you can see online at www.oldhallsouthwold.co.uk and lovely barista coffees.

The little Maze cafe serves hot drinks, cold drinks and cold takeaway snacks. Open 10-4 during August.

The Ice Cream horse box will be open daily in August, 1pm - 4pm and serves scooped Suffolk Meadow Ice Cream, the best local ice cream!

Our NEW outside pizza kitchen, Park Pizza, will be available to order our fresh stonebaked, sourdough pizza online from 24th July and will be open daily 11.30-2.30 and 3.30 - 5pm. The link will be on the website from 16th July to order your pizza in advance for collection on the day of your visit.

 

Will the toilets be open when we visit?

Yes the toilets will be open when you visit but you will be asked to adhere to a “one in one out” system and use the sanitiser provided before entering. They will be cleaned regularly throughout the day. Once covid rules are lifted this may change and normal entry and exits will prevail. We have a large toilet block with baby change and accessible toilets by the entrance to the park and further toilets including one accessible and baby change at the top end of the play park.

Will all the play park equipment be open during our visit?

Yes although the jumoing pillows may have to close if it rains during your visit as they get slippery when wet. We will endeavour to reopen as quickly as we can (see jumping pillow question above)

 You may have to queue during busy times to use the go-karts and the jumping pillows as these will have restricted numbers allowed on at any time. Also you will be asked to use sanitiser throughout your visit and make sure your children use it when playing on any equipment.
